Trees can suffer from nutrient deficiencies depending on soil pH and various characteristics that require fertilization. One of the best application methods is liquid injection. Fertilizer is dissolved in water and injected under hydraulic pressure in uniform patterns- typically 4-12” deep with spacing of 12-36” apart starting near the trunk or root flares out to the dripline or beyond (under the entire canopy.) The advantages of deep root fertilization are less competition from turf (especially for nitrogen,) better distribution, relieves soil compaction and it makes the nutrients readily available to the roots.

Organic fertilizers can be applied once per year as a program for optimal health or individual treatments to correct deficiencies as they occur. Advanced Landscape Solutions, LLC can help solve simple to complex issues keeping your trees and shrubs vigorous.
